House Rules
As you are a guest of our Property we ask that you respect our property and be respectful and courteous to any other persons onsite during your stay. Children must be supervised at all times.
All rubbish and recycling is to be disposed of accordingly. Please respect the natural environment and adhere to a leave no trace policy.
To respect other guests, all music volumes must be courteous at all times and turned off and/or not heard outside of your facility after 11pm.
No furniture or equipment is to be removed from building without permission of Caretakers.
Nanga Bush Camp has a no camping policy. No swags, tents, caravans or rooftop tents are are to be erected.
Due to dust and noise, we request that vehicle usage be limited whilst on site – speed limit is walking pace ie. 10km p/hr This is strictly enforced and failure to adhere may mean your bond is forfeited and Management has the right to evict your vehicle from the property.
No food or drinks to be taken into sleeping areas in bunkhouses or cottages. All buildings are designated smoke and vape free zones. Smoking is not permitted inside, or within 10m of all buildings and butts are to be placed in bins and not on ground. Smoke alarms and fire equipment have been installed for your safety – this equipment is not to be tampered with – any problems are to be reported to Caretaker.
Pets are not permitted at Nanga Bush Camp.
Firewood - Fires may only be lit in designated areas. Nanga supplies each building with a supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased at a cost of $15 per bag. Under no circumstances is any forest wood to be collected and burnt or a fire started outside of the designated firepits supplied. Outside fire pits must not be left alone and extinguished before going to bed or by 12pm. If your fire pit needs to be put out by the Caretaker a charge of $110 will be levied. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in the forfeiture of your bond.
Fire restrictions and total fire ban days apply at certain days, months of the year. Refer to signage near the front entrance.
The names of all persons staying on-site under your booking must be notified and paid for according to your quoted charges per person, no ticketed events are to held or advertised without the written permission of Nanga Bush Camp Directors.
All groups are expected to clean their facility before departure, leave that facility in the same state as you found it, failure to do so may incur an additional cleaning charge. Damages caused other than as a result of wear and tear will be charged to the group.
Liability: The group agrees not to run any activities on the site without gaining authorisation from Nanga management, this includes accessing ropes courses, zipline and abseiling areas without written permission.
Bonds: $500 per bunkhouse and $250 per cottage. Bonds will be refunded in full within 7 days should there be no damage to the property, its furniture, fitout or garden surrounds. Should damage occur or extra cleaning be required, this will be deducted from the bond held. If insufficient bond is held then you hereby agree to indemnify Nanga Bush Camp to the full extent of costs incurred.
Management reserve the right to terminate your stay if the above conditions are not met. I have read and agree to the conditions of hire on this form. I am authorised to sign on behalf of the group and understand that it is my responsibility to inform the group of the conditions of hire.
